SwarmSMS Cloud questions
Do I pay per message?
No. SwarmSMS never charges per message. Messages go out through the SIM plan in your own phone, so you pay only what your mobile plan charges (many include unlimited texts). Basic, Pro and Agency include unlimited messages.
Which phones work?
Any Android phone running Android 8.0 or newer with a SIM and an internet connection. Keep it on power and online. iPhones are not supported.
Do I need to install anything?
Only the SwarmSMS Android app on your phone. Everything else runs in your browser at swarmsms.com. No WordPress, server or database needed.
Can I send from my own app or website?
Yes. Create an API key in the dashboard and call POST /sms/send. Examples are built into the dashboard, and webhooks tell your system about replies and delivery status.
Who can see my messages?
Only you. Your messages, numbers and keys are stored against your account and are never visible to other customers. You can delete your account yourself at any time under Account → Delete account in the dashboard; all of its data is erased straight away. See our privacy policy.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Your account and data stay, and you can still open every page of the dashboard to look around — actions that need a plan are greyed out. Without a plan you can send 10 messages a day from 1 device (your default phone; other phones keep receiving). The API, webhooks and other paid features pause until you choose a plan, and messages scheduled earlier also count toward the 10 a day. Receiving is never limited.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
From your account on this site: My Account → Subscriptions. Cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the year you paid for, then the account drops to 10 messages a day until you renew.
Is this the same as the WordPress plugin?
Yes — it is the same product; only where it runs is different. SwarmSMS Cloud is hosted by us, and the SwarmSMS Plugin for WordPress runs inside your own WordPress. They share the same plans, and one purchase covers both: buy once and use the Cloud dashboard and the plugin. Contacts, campaigns, drip sequences, auto-replies, the OTP API, Twilio fallback, alerts, the AI connection and white-label are in both. Features that work inside WordPress itself — WooCommerce order SMS, form automations, WordPress login codes and two-factor, WooCommerce coupons and one phone shared by several sites — stay in the plugin, which your plan already includes.
