From purchase to first SMS in ten minutes

Follow these steps after you buy. Stuck? Email us.

1

Download the plugin

Log in to My Account and open Downloads to get swarmsms-x.y.z.zip. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it. A SwarmSMS menu appears.

2

Activate your license

In My Account open API Keys and copy your Master API Key. In WordPress go to SwarmSMS → License, paste the key and click Activate. The page shows your plan (Basic or Pro) and how many site activations remain. Updates then appear on the normal Plugins → Updates screen.

3

Install the Android app

Open SwarmSMS → APK in WordPress. Scan the QR code with the phone (or email/text yourself the link), download the file and allow Install unknown apps when Android asks. Open the app and allow the SMS and notification permissions. On Samsung phones also set the app’s battery to Unrestricted.

4

Pair the phone

Go to SwarmSMS → Devices → Generate pairing code. In the app tap Scan QR code. The phone shows Gateway enabled and appears as online in WordPress.

5

Set your basics

In SwarmSMS → Settings set your default country code (for example 61 for Australia), your business name and your opt-out wording.

6

Send your first SMS

Open SwarmSMS → Send, type your own mobile number and a message, and press Send. The phone sends it, and the status moves from pending to delivered in the log.
